1. About us
These Terms apply to use of the Benchmark Peptides website and to orders placed through it. Insert the final legal company name, company number, registered office, contact email and VAT details before launch.
2. Eligibility and age
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or place an order. The age confirmation at checkout is a contractual condition of sale. We may cancel an order where we reasonably believe it is inaccurate or the transaction presents a legal, fraud or safety concern.
3. Research use only
Products are offered exclusively for lawful laboratory and scientific research. They are not medicines, food, supplements or veterinary products and must not be administered to humans or animals. The purchaser is responsible for lawful storage, handling and use.
4. Orders and contract formation
An order is an offer to purchase. Automated acknowledgement confirms receipt only. A binding contract is formed when dispatch is confirmed or the order is otherwise expressly accepted. We may decline or cancel before acceptance for stock, pricing, payment, fraud-prevention, legal or compliance reasons.
5. Product information
We take reasonable care to present product names, strengths, images, specifications and documents accurately. Images may be illustrative. Batch documents should be checked against the product and batch supplied. Website information is not medical or clinical advice.
6. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling unless stated otherwise. Delivery charges and applicable taxes are shown before submission. Obvious pricing errors may be corrected, with the customer offered the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel.
7. Dispatch and delivery
Orders are processed as promptly as possible once stock and payment are confirmed. Delivery typically takes 1–3 working days following dispatch.
8. Cancellation, returns and refunds
Consumers may have statutory cancellation and refund rights for distance sales, subject to legal exceptions. Faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed goods are handled under applicable consumer law. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory statutory rights.
9. Liability
Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or mandatory consumer rights. Subject to those rules, we are not responsible for losses caused by unlawful, unsafe, unauthorised or non-research use.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the law applicable in the part of the United Kingdom where the consumer lives, and consumers may use the courts available to them under applicable law.
